LOVE THIS! I have charged the ReX from the USB, solar and from Another battery. The versatility is fantastic. This means no matter what situation your in (I.e. Camping, survival, or just day to day) you will always have a power source and light. That's peace of mind. I'm grateful I have this.

Carrying the Rex everyday, I appreciate having different options for charging. It has been so useful even during the daytime,searching indoors, etc. My wife likes the head strap. It does fit her head. And it is so light weight. It is too bad that the Rex could be damaged from over charging and the retaining clips on the accessories seem a bit fussy. That said, the price is very economical. I wish the instructions told about how long the solar charger should be used in full sun as a basic guideline. I still have the original amber photon, 2nd generation, and freedom pinch lights. I keep them as zipper fobs on backpacks and my wife's keychain. Love them. It's true that I sometimes have to push the switch more than once on the Rex to get it on but the ability to recharge my everyday flashlight is worth it.

The charger I use often and are very high quality. I appreciate in particular the rapid charging from USB. The disadvantage is a narrow headband (tape the handle for the LRI REX).

This charger is a must. Being able to charge by plugging into a USB port is just so much easier and more convenient than using the traditional battery hookup. The solar charger is neat but I don't have much use for it personally.

This thing is just way overpriced. $10 or $15 dollars would be much more reasonable. I couldn't see this product lasting for years to come, nor is it super easy to use. Clicking the light in and out of the usb charger is way to hard to do. Just not really a quality product but ok.

Using the USB charger is so much easier than draining individual batteries to recharge your Photon Rex. The battery trick is cool, but it gets old after a while. I haven't tried the solar charger yet, but I like survival gear and appreciate having it available for emergencies.

Like so many Americans I am in transition and live a semi-homeless life. The real advantage to this tool is that the operating costs are zero as I recharge it from the USB port from a public computer at the public library. It is bright enough to both serve as a safety beacon while walking home at night and allow me to settle into my unlit living area. The dimming feature allows me essential light when I have to maintain a stealthy presence. Being very poor it was an indulgence to purchase it and the accessory pack. However, it proved to be an investment of enormous value. It is definitely on my gift giving list when I become reestablished. It would be invaluable on foreign mission trips to third world countries. I carry mine on a lanyard for easy access.

Great product which eliminates the need for batteries and can be used as a headlamp. Compact solar panel can be taken anywhere camping/hiking. Have not tried USB device

This is a kit that makes you independent from batteries and allows handsfree use of the Photon REX light. However the plastic, holding the light on the headband, broke after only 2 weeks of use rendering the handsfree feature unusable.

I wish someone had invented this years ago! The kit gives you 2 quick & easy ways to recharge your light & also includes a headband for hands free usage. Only drawbacks are the light is a little hard to fit in the solar & usb charger but they work very well once you have everything lined up. Trying to live a "greener life" these days and this is certainly one of the best ideas to come along.
