Before retirement, my job involved entering unoccupied office and storage spaces during evening hours. My first Photon Micro Light was purchased many years ago simply as a backup light in case I forgot my regular flashlight. Soon, though, I began deliberately working without my flashlight because the little Photon did everything I needed in terms of letting me find my way into and out of pitch-dark offices. I used the Micro Light only in pulses sufficiently long to light short paths through the darkened offices, and used this way it amazed me how long the Photon worked between battery changes -- sometimes for as long as two or three years. Because of the unit's tiny size and effective lateral illumination zone, years ago I bought a red bulb Photon and suspended it from the interior gear loop of my ultralight tent. This is a permanent installation. I recently bought one each red, green and white-bulb Photon for use as auxilliary navigation lights on my boat during the overnight leg of a 100-mile ultramarathon canoe race. This race will mark the first time that I'll personally use Photons in "continuous burn" mode for any serious length of time. They will be put to a test, and I have no doubt the Micro Lights will function as designed.

This is a great light and I mean bright.I got the red one and it comes in handy in all situations where you would need light right away.I even used this up under my SUV where a flashlight I could not get under the SUV.Very simple to use and worth it's weight in gold.Buy it......

Makes for a great tent light. Small enough to wear on a necklace, light enough to clip to the interior loop of a tent, stays on with one click, bright enough to be useful, affordable enough to have more than one. Enough said.

old eyes, I use it to brighten reading material when a lesser than bright light, Its small, I carry it around my neck and use it in the dark while duck, turkey, deer hunting, also to get me there and back. The latest one I got is extremely bright, don't need another flashlight of any kind. I wouldn't be with one as long as I can get one. The one I have the off/on switch is hard to operate, my only dislight. If you can think of use for a flashlight around the home or else were that is how I us mine. Its a winner.

I've been a fan of Photon Lights for years. I had been without one for a while and missed it. I'm happy to have one back psn my keychain. They're indispensable at night ... hundreds of uses.

I never thought my life could be made so much easier with such a simple product! I own the Micro-Light II Keychain light with an orange beam. It's great for finding things in a dark glove compartment, behind the television, under the sofa, or any other place that is dark and hard to get to. I recently bought a second one. Buy one! You'll love it! I'm planning on being buried with mine when I die.
