Kit with 8 AA cells is a good value. We've used 8 of these chargers, with PowerEx 2700 MAh AA cells, for wireless mics. Over the past year they've performed great. The quick charge provides enough charge in 1 hour to use one set of batteries for a 2-show day. We run the conditioning function on our batteries after a few hundred charge cycles. The AA batteries are slightly larger than alkaline cells, but still fit well in our mic packs.

A great piece of kit! Rugged, fast and reliable. The LCD display shows the status/charge for each battery which I like. You won't find a better charger for the price.

I own a photography studio and have been battling my batteries not lasting more than 2 days with a charge, and running down within 10 minutes. I read an article about the Muha charger and thought I would give it a try. The first set of batteries I ran through the reconditioning cycle. they ran in my Canon 580s for a whole session and never slowed. I had thought they were junk. I reconditioned all 40+ batteries and found two junkers, and the rest fully charged. Some of the first set are still sitting on the shelf and have a full charge. I am sold. Thank you for a great product.

I used to have energizer batteries. They took about 4 times as long to charge. These seem to keep up better.
