Comments: I've used other chargers and the first time I used the Maha PowerEx it clearly performed well above any charger I've ever used. It's fast charging capabilities are awesome. If fact, I'm probably going to buy a few more so I can give them as gifts. |

Comments: I use these (have 3 of them) to rapidly charge 12 AA batteries at a time for use in Nikon SB-600 Strobe lights (have 6 of them). While I'm shooting with one set of strobes (up to 6 units) I have a set of batteries ready and a set of batteries "cooking" in the recharger. Never run out of "juice" needed to power these strobes during a shoot. Great products, reliable, easy to use, fast, period. |

Comments: Tried for 4 weeks. Charged AAA NiMH battery real fast. Done charge in around an hour. Really needed for travel. I had other universal charger in my last Europe trip. It took 6 or more hours to charge up my AA batteries for digital camera. I needed at least two spare packs as I was taken photos and videos in HD format with screen on. I couldn't charge up my spare batteries in time for the next day because it took too long to charge one set. Hence, I purchase this fast charging set. It is much faster. It is really good for travelling when I need to charge more than one set of batteries. |

PROS CONS BEST USES
Comments: Purchased this for my Canon digital camera (uses 2 AA). So far, I've taken hundreds of photos over more than a week with sufficient battery power. The Powerex batteries are a high 2700 mAh and I was not finding 2500mAh+ as recommended for digital cameras readily at stores. The small case that came with the batteries is helpful for storing them. The charger is small and even with the initial 24 hour charge did not get overly warm. The unit reduces charging power making it safer if you leave batteries in an extended period. I also think the discharge option button that this unit has will be important for maintaining a full charge and extending the life of the batteries. I did a full day charge to start, but found a refresh charge went to green (to indicate charged) quickly. Maybe a minus is that the charger has a long cord vs a plug right on the unit making it a bit more to store or pack. I went from standard AA to the Powerex rechargeable and found just a bit more delay in my photo taking (not enough to justify throwing standard batteries out weekly). The directions gave lots of safety information, but wasn't very in depth about charge times, discharge information, or recharging batteries in pairs with similar drainage from use. I have not yet needed to put in the spare set to see how they've held the initial full charge, but based on reviews I'm hopeful I'll be happy with the available power supply. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: The 'top spot' ranking is deserved. This charger helps get the most out of any AA NiMH batteries - Rayovac, Duracell or PowerEx. I like that no wall wort is required, the conditioning function works and the cost-effectiveness when bundled with four or eight batteries. Not a quick charger, but batteries will last longer when they're not force-charged. Carry more batteries instead - the included plastic holders are great for this. |

Comments: Great little recharger ! It takes up very little room, tells you when the job is done and is easy to use. Great money saver when you use batteries like I do. Less waste, no more throwing out old batteries or trying to find a place to recycle them. Reusing things is the best way to go. There is no down side to this product. |

BEST USES Comments: The only reason I give it 3 stars so far, is because I it is light and I can't know if it will be durable. It is very light compared to my old 14 hour Radioshack NIMH/Ni-Cad charger, which I stupidly gave away a year ago. It works great and really did bring MUCH more life to a set of AA batteries.[...] |
