Comments: Skeletool is a neat tool when a lightweight and easy to use blade or screwdriver is all you need. The tool comes with one extra bit and it's great you can keep it with the tool. The locking mechanism of the spare bit (friction) is something I wouldn't trust until I see how it works in the long run. If you don't need scissors, file or other features of it's bigger brothers Skeletool is a very compact and stylish tool. I like the design but the numerous holes and nooks may gather dust and such in no time if the tool is kept in a pocket. The blade is easy to open with one hand and the locking tab keeps it from opening by itself. That's good since there's no safety lock which prevents it from opening when the pliers are being used (as in Wave, for example). There's a minor imperfection in the nose of the pliers that have been sanded unevenly on the outside. Other than this I haven't been able to find any "manufacturing defects". |
