Comments: I bought 2 of these recently, and they are top notch. I really like them. The light is a nice and bright. The only drawback is that the button is somewhat hard to click. Some options i'd like to see would be different color options. Yellow is great cautionary type color, but I really do want an all black one. how about matching some of the stuff out there already: od green, camo, desert would all be awesome color options. |

Comments: I have this cord light attached to my fleece jacket, so I always have it in case of emergency or I get caught out after dark. With the waterproof case, I don't have to worry about rain. |

Comments: Cord lock light comes in handy as a light and pull handle on jackets, equipment bags, and backpacks. I think the design could be refined to easily know which way the light will point. It would nice if you included a strand of paracord so you could use your own cord to attach light to zippers that have no pull cord. |

PROS CONS BEST USES Comments: The Black Crater Gear Cord Light solves the problem of never having a light handy. I put one on my favorite jacket and another I tied a leather strap to my brief case to attach the Gear Cord Light. They come in very handy when a light is needed unexpectedly. The emergency flashing mode is a great option that I hope I never have to use. |

BEST USES Comments: Now that a Black Crater Cord Lock Light is attached to the drawstring of my favorite lens bag, changing lenses in darkened areas is a snap! Like many DSLR users, I carry several lenses in my camera bag. But most often switch between my two favorites – the one on the camera and the one in the bag – which can now easily identified by the bright yellow cord lock. Not only does it make it easy to spot the lens bag I want (since all four bags are the same color), it allows me to quickly illuminate the camera bag and the surrounding area with a squeeze of the black button. So, whether I want my favorite lens, or any of the others, this light is always available right where I need it, conveniently attached to the drawstring. All the other Photon Freedom Micro lights that I keep clipped in various sections of the bag seem to wander off to be used elsewhere, but the cord lock light stays right where it is most needed. Its good to be able to see what you're doing. And even though I frequently fumble trying to locate the on/off button, the two-brightness levels are much appreciated. |
